Kevin Greeland is a practicing artist and art educator living in Southern California. Kevin teaches a variety of classes in acrylic painting, bookmaking and mixed media approaches to painting and sculpture. Kevin is a certified Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors, Inc. His studio, Art Haus, offers a wide selection of classes, workshops, and a professional lecture and demonstration series for Golden Artist Colors, Inc.
Kevin holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education degree. Kevin has taught art at Memphis College of Art and Vanderbilt University where he was also the Assistant Director of the Sarratt Studio Arts Program. He has taught art in public schools in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee as well as in various museum settings, such as Cheekwood Art Museum, and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. In the 2002-2003 school year he was recognized as an outstanding art educator with a Teacher of the Year Award from Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County Public Schools. Kevin was also the owner of Parkland Art Boutique & Gallery, originally located in Sarasota, Florida.
Kevin was the recipient of a Hohenberg European Travel Fellowship and has participated in a number of residency programs, including a program at Wackers Academy in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Kevin has received numerous awards; his artwork includes painting, printmaking, handmade books, sculpture, and installations.
